1904 Carlsberg pilsner's famous logo designed by Thorvald Bindesbøll is introduced.
Architect Thorvald Bindesboell designed the world famous art nouveau Carlsberg logo for the launch of Carlsberg pilsner in 1904. With the logo, this pioneer in Danish design forever left is mark on Denmark's leading beer maker. He was paid 500 kroner for the design - it was expensive at the time, but it turned out to be money well spent. And like the beer, the award winning logo has stood the test of time, remaining largely unchanged to this very day.

The world famous art nouveau Carlsberg logo was designed by Thorvald Bindesbøll in 1904 for the launch of the Carlsberg pilsner.
